We believe that the three-dimensional gymnasium and square in Hsinchu City, first as a ring of the walking city of Hsinchu City and a part of Hsinchu Park, are the gymnasium itself. Therefore, while giving a new form to the entrance of the gymnasium, we sort out the character and order of the activities around the base. We intervene, redefine the space scale, and try to make all kinds of activities as free as possible in this space. In addition to being an open activity space (shaping activities), the square is also an important walking route from the road to the children's library, the centennial avenue, and the zoo, with the character of flowing in a linear direction.

The rain shelter structure comes from our understanding and extension of the use of venues and the existing building vocabulary. The extrapolated facade and rain shelter make the originally deep and poorly lit hall provide enough space for spectators to stay, buffer and socialize when the game is held. The walkers can easily walk onto the platform to participate in activities through the square, or take a rest in the shadow of rain and hot weather.
